Peach Crisp

Peach Crisp for one - cashmere and plaid blog.jpgpeach crisp for one - cashmere and plaid blogpeach crisp for one -  Cashmere and Plaid blog.jpgpeach crisp for one (or two) - cashmere and plaid blog While scrolling through Instagram the other day, I read a comment written by someone who had just baked peaches with honey drizzled on top.  Since it was 930 in the morning and I needed an excuse to make these right then and there, I decided to make them more breakfast-y by adding oats and a tiny bit of brown sugar.  I didn't measure anything, I just sort of wung it, but they turned out absolutely delicious! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • one peach, cut in half and pitted
  • approximately half a cup of oats
  • a couple tea spoons of brown sugar
  • a drizzle of honey

Method

  1. Cut the peach in half, remove the pit, place each half in an oven safe dish
  2. Combine the oats and brown sugar in a small dish
  3. Sprinkle the mixture over top of the peach
  4. Drizzle with honey
  5. Bake at 325 for ~7 minutes (more or less depending on how crispy you want your oats)
