You know those moments when you do something completely stupid and you kick yourself for it at first, but it actually ends up being a really great thing?  Well, I had one of those a couple of weeks ago.  After being home on the mainland for a few days before the fall semester started, I returned to Victoria and realized I had forgotten my toiletries bag in Vancouver.  All of my makeup, my toothbrush, my deodorant, pretty much everything I use on a daily basis to make myself presentable was on the mainland.  At first I was really mad that I was going to have to go out and spend money on makeup that I technically already had.  But I decided to make the best of it and went out and bought the cheapest things I could find.  I also decided that to offset my pain and suffering I would treat myself to one thing from Sephora.  Well, you can bet I wasn't going to waste money on a product I didn't like, so I walked up and down all the aisles, trying out all sorts of products and thinking about what I would use the most (I had to be at least a little bit practical).  After making sure it would go well with my skin tone, I bought the sucker.

It rocks.  I love it.  Seriously.  So.  Good.

It goes on so nicely, it's super subtle, it blends so well, it lasts all day, and you need so little of it! It's really stupendous.  I think I've worn it almost everyday since I bought it.  I've been putting it on with one of those little triangle sponge things because that was all I had when I bought it (makeup brushes were in the toiletries bag) and I will definitely keep using it.  I did try using my proper brush with it, but I really like the way I can blend with the sponge.

So!  If you're in the market for a new blush and have approximately $25 to spare, I HIGHLY recommend this one.  Josie Maran watercolor cheek gelée in the shade Poppy Paradise.  It's the bomb dot com.
