TGIF

Happy Friday friends! I hope you've all had a splendiferous week and are off to a great spring! As you can see from the photo above, we've had a rainy start to the season but, as a friend reminded me: no rain, no flowers.

Best part of the week: Thursday night was date night and it was one of the best. It started with dinner at the Costco foodcourt, you just can’t beat a hotdog for a buck fifty! It was followed by a walk through Yaletown and over to a suit company where boyfriend got fitted for a *bespoke* suit. We walked back through downtown to skytrain, got home and watched an episode of Game of Thrones before falling asleep at a very reasonable hour. It was such a great night.

Worst part of the week: I’m commuting almost three hours every day, taking two buses, a train, and a car ride to get to and from my practicum. For the most part I don’t mind it, but on Wednesday night there was a guy on the packed train with his headphones on. He was singing loudly for a good part of the ride and I was not thrilled about it.

Something I’m grateful for: Walking through the city on a cold night made me so so grateful for my current situation in life in general. I always have a warm place to cozy up in, I have friends and family who I love and who love me, I usually have more food than I can eat, and I live in a beautiful part of the world. So much to be grateful for.

Something I’m excited for: I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow morning and I am so looking forward to it. I haven’t been in almost three months and I can feel how out of whack I am from all of the sitting I do on the daily.

198) Are you scared of spiders? Yes. Terrified. On Monday mom was telling me about a huge spider she found in the living room and just thinking about it made me start crying.

There you have it folks, a quick look into the last week and a little peak into the life of an arachnophobic. Happy weekending!
