Best part of the week: On Sunday I went for a super long walk in the cold pouring rain. Normally when I go on a walk I wrap my hands up in whatever sweater I’ve got on under my jacket because my hands are cold enough as it is and being outside in the fall/winter doesn’t do much to help that. But instead of wrapping them up when I was on my walk, I rolled up my sleeves and let my hands get super cold and super wet and super dirty while I ran them all over mossy tree trunks and through bushes of leaves (and thorns…). By the time I got home I could barely get the key in the lock because my hands were so sore and cold and non-functional but it felt great to be so engaged with nature on my walk and so aware of my human form.

Worst part of the week: I was feeling a bit sad and sorry for myself on Wednesday.

Something I’m grateful for: All the creative projects I get to work on because of what I do.

Something I’m excited for: I’m going to look at a coworking space in Vancouver on Monday! I need to get out of the house more and meet people and as great as coffee shops they aren’t exactly the best place for making connections.

Big news. I’d been using the same list of 800 questions since I started this little ditty a few years ago. I’d been feeling bored by most of the remaining ones for the last little while so I went out to find a new list. Well, my search delivered. I found this list last night and I’m stooooked. It’s got a great range of deep and meaningful ones and a few light funny ones and some super random ones. So pick a number between one and 99 and I’ll start working my way through! Starting us off today we have…

61. Who Gives You The Courage To Try New Things? - what did I tell you? Greeeeat questions.

For me it’s less about who it is and more about how a person makes me feel. If I feel supported by someone and safe around them, that’s what gives me courage I think. That being said, ultimately I think courage is more of an inside job. I don’t think it’s something we give to each other. I think we support each other and encourage each other but actually doing the thing that scares you comes from you just doing it.
