I'm Still Here

Helloooo!  Long time no see!  Apologies for the lack of activity over here..  Life got busy and I left the country for a little vacation and I'm working more so I'm just trying to figure out how to balance my time now that I've got more things going on!  So here is a little update for all of you that care!

I spent all of last week in the states on a road trip with Brittney (you might know her better as roomie)!  We left with basically no plans except to drive.  We ended up driving to Portland, San Fransisco, and all the way down to Los Angeles!  It was the trip of a lifetime!  We saw so much, drove for so long, and perhaps the best part, got to feel actual warmth from the sun!  I really can't complain, seeing as we here in BC have had an exceptionally mild winter, especially compared to that of the winter back east (sorry you guys), but being able to go out in shorts and a shirt at 9 o'clock in the morning was quite something!

Now that I'm home, I've got a ton of work lined up.  Between working at the cafe and babysitting for some of my favourite tiny people I'm going to be quite busy!  But I've also got a list of post ideas that I can't wait to dig into and spend some time on.  So please be patient and know that I have not forgotten about my corner of the internet and that I will post as often as I can!

1. Ryn Weaver - OctaHate:  this song is where it is at.  I have listened to it sooooo many times and it never gets old. 2. Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do: I'm pretty sure this song just gets better every time I listen to it. 3. Hayley Williams & Joy Williams - Hate To See Your Heart Break:  a little slower but still so amazing.  And anything with Joy Williams is a winner in my books. 4. LP - Into The Wild: another golden tune that was played often on the road last week
