DIY Mother's Day Cards

With Mother's Day ten days away, I thought it would be fun to do a little DIY!  It's super easy and doesn't require much at all!

Materials:

• paper (I used cardstock)
• watercolor paints
• paint brush
• white crayon {you can also use a wax candle to draw your words/shapes, but you have to press a bit harder}

For this project all you have to do is cut the paper to the size you want, fold it in half and write your message or draw your pattern using the white crayon.  Once you have your design on the paper, take a bit of watercolor paint and brush gently over the message!.  That's it!   It's that easy!  A word of caution: don't go over the design a bunch of times to make it darker..  It makes the color stick to the wax and your message starts to disappear.
