Goldstream Trestle

I'd wanted to go to this place for ages and on Friday it finally happened! Now, for some reason I had it in my head that it would just be a nice little walk.  Wrong.  It's definitely a proper hike.  I was sort of dying by the time we got to the top. But in my defense, we didn't have any water and I probably should have eaten more than a piece of toast hours before going... I digress...  The hike is actually really beautiful and the view from the trestle is unbeatable!  I'd seen so many pictures of this place but pictures really don't do it justice.  The pictures also don't convey how scary it is up there.  If you have a fear of heights, maybe avoid this adventure.. But if you don't mind walking across a really freaking high train track to see an incredible view, then put on your hiking boots, grab a water bottle and head to Goldstream!
