November Playlist
I thought that before the Christmas music takes over next week I'd share some of the non-Christmas music I've been playing lately.
Hard Sail - Chantal Kreviazuk
I have been completely obsessed with Chantal Kreviazuk for the past few months. Her voice is incredible, her song writing is beautiful and she just seems like a truly wonderful human. She's coming next month and even if I have to go by myself, you can bet I will be there!
Favourite Songs: Meant for This, Ticklish, Vicious, Into Me
Farewell Starlite! - Francis and The Lights
When Zoe was here a few weeks ago she showed me this music video for a song called "Friends". The song was so great that I had to look up the rest of album. Needless to say, it's a keeper.
Favourite Songs: Friends, See Her Out (That's Just Life), I Want You To Shake, My City's Gone, It's Alright To Cry
Dog Years - Maggie Rogers
You've probably heard the amazing "Alaska" on the radio already but this new one is also fabulous. It's an especially great song for swiveling around on your office work chair.. Just sayin.
Remember Us To Life - Regina Spektor
The thing I love about this album is that the songs on it tell beautiful stories. Her lyrics are more narrative than they are poetic which helps to create little movies in your head while you listen.
Favourite Songs: Grand Hotel, The One Who Stayed and the One WhoLeft
Also on Repeat ...
Because it's been so long since my last tunes post I thought I'd include just a few extra ones that I've been loving as well. My Spotify is also fuuuull of songs that get me through the days if you're looking for even more music!
What have you been listening to lately? As much as I love the music above, I'm always on the hunt for new tunes. Share your favourites below and I'll be sure to check them out!
