Best part of the week: There were a couple of highlights this week. The first happened on the weekend when I went into Sitka and saw my basket of slipper socks sitting right at front with each pair sporting a stylish security tag!!! The. Coolest. Another great moment was going to see Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. I’d give the movie a 6 out of 10. But the company I was with and the Harry Potter-esque themes made it a fun night and definitely a highlight of the week. I also got a space heater at work and I am so freakin stoked. It’s been cold in the office since I started back in April but now we can finally warm our desks and I can wear fewer than 16 layers!
Worst part of the week: I had a meltdown on Monday night. I blamed it on Gilmore Girls but that was just what gave me permission to start. And once I started I just kept going. At one point my sister said we should be recording our FaceTime conversation to send to Ellen. It was that good.
Something I’m grateful for: Toothbrushes. I accidentally fell asleep before brushing my teeth one night this week (I basically passed out after my meltdown) and when I woke up I felt nasty. So thank you toothbrush for always being there for me.
Something I’m excited for: This weekend I intend to spend as much time by myself as possible. I’ve had lots of people around lately and we’re entering the time of year when lots of people are always around. I’m not complaining at all, I love all the people I’m spending time with but I am very excited for a quiet weekend crafting, photographing, cleaning, and decorating.
613) On a scale of 1-10 how polite would you say you are? I’d say it depends on who I’m around. I’m Canadian so I’ve got the “sorry” part down and I always (try to) remember to say “please” and “thank you” but I lose points when it comes to ladylike politeness… I can out burp pretty much everyone I know and I’m usually not too shy about it. So there’s that. But overall I’d say I’m quite polite and would give myself an 8.
Happy December everybody! The Christmas countdown is officially on and I can hardly wait!
