TGIF
And we are back to our regularly scheduled programming. Last week I was suuuuper sick so I decided to just take it easy with a Harry Potter puzzle, some mood boarding, knitting, and Netflixing, you know the self care stuff... But I’m happy to report that I'm feeling much better and am excited to present to you the first TGIF post of 2017!
Best part of the week: I had the perfect amount of coffee in my system both on Monday and yesterday. It makes the workday so much more doable when I’m properly energized and feeling awake.
Worst part of the week: This week I felt lost, uncertain, scared, frustrated and lonely. I feel like I’m at a time in my life that’s got me hovering or drifting or suspended or something but not really moving very much in one direction or another. I feel like I’m waiting… “Quit waiting around and go do something about it.” Believe me, I’m trying.
Something I’m grateful for: I’m grateful for the people who helped me out this week and got me in touch with new people and thinking about new things and new possibilities.
Something I’m excited for: I’m going home this weekend for a whirlwind trip to see a few people and do a bunch of things and I am very much looking forward to seeing a handful of my peeps.
379) Have you ever walked into a wall? I walk into things pretty much daily so I’m going to say yes, I am sure that at some point I have walked into a wall. But the more memorable story was walking into a lamppost in grade 2 or 3. We were walking home from school and I was being freak for my friends and was looking over at them laughing when I walked right into the post. At first I started laughing, as did my friends, but then my enemy at the time decided it was just stupid and made some sarcastic comment that made me cry and run all the way home by myself.
Happy weekending everyone! Stay warm and stay positive!
